Choreography of the image, inserts: Substitutes 2016

For the exhibition Travelogue at the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein, 2016, the Inserts previously displayed inside the vitrines at Tate Britain were mounted directly to the Kunstmuseum’s walls. In this state they were liberated from an archival reading and presented clues to their own history, trajectories of displacement. All the archival material originally shown was through a process of substitution replaced by over 160 photographs taken from my Travelogue collection.
