Solo Exhibition: A rounded landscape / Un paysage arrondi

DATES DU 19 AVRIL AU 21 SEPTEMBRE 2025

For her forthcoming solo exhibition, the first in a French museum, Charlotte Moth has focused her attention on the collection and the MAMC+ museum renovation. Since 2021, Charlotte Moth has worked like a researcher doing field work at the museum. She has scrutinised the transformations to the building while delving deep in the collection storages to bring gems back to life.

« A Rounded Landscape / Un paysage arrondi » was selected by the Patrons of the Fondation des Artistes who provided invaluable enabling support.

An edition of 12 photogram pairs, titled Silhouetted, (sold at the price of 850 euros a set), have been made to support the financing of my forthcoming solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in St Etienne, France (MAMC+).

This exhibition, scheduled for April 2025, marks the development of my work through an exploration into the unique and rich collection of art and design works housed at MAMC+ St Etienne. Resulting in a new body of works that builds upon previous experiences of working at Tate Britain, and the CA2M Madrid. The exhibition will be presented as a form of landscape punctuated by performative events that have a link to the current exhibition dim glows (par les lueurs) at Marcelle Alix and the performance Exquisite corpse, realised in 2023 at the Institut Giacometti, Paris.
